Sonat implemented an OFO Type 3 for eight market-area groups Monday morning. Penalties of $15/Dth were being assessed on any shipper whose delivery point takes exceeded 102% of their daily entitlement. The pipeline also began limiting IT service for four other groups.

Because of freezing weather moving into the state of Florida, Florida Gas Transmission declared an Overage Alert Day notice for its market area Monday. The notice carried 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Reliant is lifting a Critical Period alert this morning.

Columbia Gas advised Firm Storage Service customers that it does not anticipate being able to accommodate any requests for inventory transfers if they affect an FSS account. Shippers may continue to request such inventory transfers, but should be aware they are unlikely to be granted until further notice, Columbia said.

Falcon Gas Storage Co. is holding an open season through March 20 for capacity at its Hill-Lake Gas Storage Facility in Eastland County, TX. Up to 3.6 Bcf of firm working gas capacity is available for terms ranging from one to three years. Services range from a single cycle per year up to four cyclings in one year. Hill-Lake receipt and delivery points include the EPGT/TUFCO North Texas Pipeline, Lone Star Pipeline‘s Line X and Line WA, and the Cantera Resources Pipeline. Falcon bought the Hill-Lake facility last year from TXU Lone Star Pipeline (see Daily GPI, April 4, 2001).
