Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday with $1/Dth penalties for positive daily imbalances exceeding a 3% tolerance.

Florida Gas Transmission ended Friday an Overage Alert Day notice that had begun in the previous week, but warned that a new OFO might become necessary Saturday.

Columbia Gas said the turbine at Lanham Compressor Station is out of service due to unexpected maintenance. It is not expected to return to service until mid-November.

ANR reported being informed by “numerous processing plants on the Southeast system” that based on current eonomics they will not be processing effective Nov. 1. If this situation does not turn around by today, ANR said, it will reinstate a “Btu OFO” for the Southeast system to take effect Nov. 1. The OFO would restrict the heating value of receipts to 1,050 Btus per cubic foot. It would not apply “to receipts that are dedicated and confirmed by a known processing plant that is in operation and/or where the heat content of the receipts exceeds 1,050 Btus per cubic foot but the pentanes (C5+) and heavier components do not exceed 0.05 gallons per thousand cubic feet,” ANR said.
