Saying its overall linepack was low because Tropical Storm Barry had “significantly affected receipt gas” and market area demand was strong, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for Monday’s gas day with a 10% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Sonat reported that as of 8:30 a.m. CDT Monday it had seen the Mississippi Canyon 109, Viosca Knoll 989, Bayou Felice, West Delta 133 and West Delta 75 receipt points return to service. These points remained shut in Monday morning, Sonat said: Main Pass 138, Mississippi Canyon 20, West Delta 152, West Delta 89, Main Pass 123, Mississippi Canyon 311, Main Pass 133C, Viosca Knoll 289, Destin, Main Pass 68, South Pass 62, Venice Shell, Main Pass 116, Main Pass 181, Main Pass 298, Main Pass 144, Main Pass 313, Main Pass 77 and Mississippi Canyon 194.

ANR said the annual horsepower work that began May 1 at its Southeast Mainline compressor stations will continue through September due to additional work required at the Delhi Compressor Station. This will result in a total Southeast Mainline capacity reduction of 100 MMcf/d through Aug. 26 and 75 MMcf/d from Aug. 27 through Sept. 27, ANR said.

NGPL said its line lowering work, previously rescheduled for today and Wednesday, has been delayed until Thursday & Friday. NGPL will be unable to make physical deliveries to the Crossroads Lateral in Lake County, IN, during the project, but based on current nominations, the pipeline expects little or no impact to scheduled volumes.

Northern Natural Gas will take the 20-inch TOS-84061 segment of its operated Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System out of service today through Aug. 12 to disconnect from the Ocean Energy 831-A platform. The Mustang Island A-16, 803, 787, 785 and 782 platforms, representing about 13,000 MMBtu/d, will be cut to zero flow during the work.
