Texas Eastern said it had finished valve repairs on its Venice Lateral in the East Louisiana Zone (see Daily GPI, July 26) and brought the line back into service Thursday morning, allowing affected production to resume at scheduled volumes. Shipper imbalances incurred during the brief outage may be made up through the end of the month, Texas Eastern said.

Gulf South said Thursday it had begun performing unscheduled maintenance on Montpelier Compressor Station Unit # 6 until further notice. This is in addition to scheduled maintenance on the station’s Unit # 1 that began July 9 and was expected to last about 45 days. The Unit #1 work cut capacity north of Montpelier by 75 MMcf/d; the Unit #6 maintenance could raise the affected volume to 125 MMcf/d, Gulf South said.

Tennessee will experience various maintenance-related 500 Line outages between Main Line Valves 529 and 534 starting Aug. 3 and lasting through the rest of the month. It anticipates restricting 40-65% of Secondary services (IT-X, IT, AOT, PAT, Payback, EDS/ERS, Tertiary, Secondary) from about 400 meters upstream of Station 530 during that period; see the bulletin board for details. In addition, no nominations will be accepted at the Lake Borgne meter from Aug. 8 through Aug. 20.
