NGPL reported discovery of a gas quality problem at the Amoco-Red Oak receipt point in Latimer County, OK. Effective today until further notice, NGPL will not be scheduling gas at the point.

ANR said Monday a previously delayed Southeast Mainline maintenance project between Main Line Valves 9 and 11 (see Daily GPI, July 19) is now scheduled for today through Thursday. It will add another 75 MMcf/d of capacity constraint to an ongoing reduction of 100 MMcf/d that will run through the end of August due to compressor maintenance on the Southeast Mainline.

Transco plans to begin modifications and re-piping of metering facilities Aug. 1 on its CTGS (Central Texas Gathering System) Pipeline downstream of the Markham Plant (Station 24). Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by Aug. 5. The Tejas Markham interconnect will be shut in during the work, while physical flow and scheduled deliveries from CTGS shippers to downstream points, including Station 30, UTTCO, Dow and Tennessee delivery points, will be limited to about 200,000 MMBtu/d. Transco encouraged afffected shippers to secure scheduled deliveries at the Valero Markham and Channel Markham interconnects to avoid a capacity allocation at this bottleneck.

Sonat has established a toll-free telephone number that shippers may call for the status and details of all Operational Flow Order (OFO) types for both mainline and South Georgia facilities. The number, available 24 hours a day, is (800) 315-0575. The message will be updated when changes occur.

El Paso will shut down the Window Rock Station on July 27 for Department of Transportation tests and station wiring changes. The work will coincide with modifications to Lines 1205 and 1218 in the San Juan Basin. North Mainline capacity will be reduced by 380 MMcf/d, and no deliveries can be made from El Paso to the ITWWINRK interconnect.
