Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 3 high-inventory OFO for Saturday. The OFO had $5/Dth penalties for exceeding a very tight 1% tolerance for positive daily imbalances. Unlike the previous weekend, Southern California Gas did not have a corresponding Overnominations Day in place Saturday.

El Paso Field Services has scheduled pigging of the 24-inch Seahawk Shoreline System offshore southeastern Louisiana from the Mississippi Canyon 623 platform into Oyster Lake for next Thursday. From Saturday through Wednesday preceding this project, no flow will be allowed on the Bobcat Line, which may result in higher than normal line pressures. Operators will not be required to shut in any platforms but should monitor their line pressure as needed, EPFS said.

Horsepower work that began May 1 on ANR’s Southeast Mainline compressor stations will continue through the end of August due to additional work required at the Delhi (LA) Compressor Station, keeping Southeast Mainline capacity reduced by about 100 MMcf/d. In addition, ANR will be conducting pipeline maintenance July 18-21 along the Southeast Mainline between Main Line Valves 9 and 11, which will cause an extra capacity of 75 MMcf/d. However, at current flow levels the impact of the work should be minimal, ANR said.
