Gulf South said unscheduled maintenance that began Monday on unit #3 at Bistineau (LA) Station, originally expected to be wrapped up Wednesday afternoon, has been extended through Friday. The work is reducing injection capacity at the pipeline’s Bistineau Storage Facility by 75 MMcf/d.

Due to a lightning strike, Kinder Morgan Interstate has shut in its Fort Union Glenrock interconnect for an indefinite period. The WGR/KMIGT GLENROCK CONVERSE and CIG/KMIGT GLENROCK CONVERSE receipt points can be used as alternatives to Fort Union. KMI also said it will be relocating a section of its Pony Express pipeline July 26 to make way for highway construction. Four interconnects will be scheduled to zero that day.

PG&E Gas Transmission-Northwest (GTN) will have 20,000 MMBtu/d of firm capacity, subject to right of first refusal, become available Feb. 1, 2002. The primary path associated with the capacity is Kingsgate to Malin. GTN will accept bids for the space Aug. 1-31; then its current holder will have one month to match the highest bid(s). The winning bid(s) will be announced Oct. 1.

NGPL has posted for bidding a series of right-of-first-refusal capacity packages with various volumes and receipt/delivery paths. All have a bid deadline of Aug. 10. See the bulletin board for details.
