Sonat said late Friday afternoon it had not seen the reduction in nominated supplies for Saturday’s gas day necessary to prevent an OFO Type 6, but continued to defer actual issuance of the order because “we have had several commitments that reductions are going to be made on the evening cycle.” Shippers were encouraged to have personnel available to receive phone calls in the event that an OFO had to be issued Friday night.

El Paso said it would take a Guadalupe Station turbine down to repair an oil leak Saturday and Sunday (June 30-July 1), reducing capacity through Pecos River Station by 240 MMcf/d.
