Citing a gas quality problem, NGPL has quit scheduling nominations at the Oneok/Westar-Wheeler receipt point in Wheeler County, TX until further notice.

Sonat reported experiencing intermittent dehydration equipment problems at the Logansport (LA) Compressor Station and said if these problems can not be corrected, it will become unable to accept any gas upstream of the station. Such action would affect 59 points in receipt point group 51 (Logansport and Joaquin). The situation is exacerbated by the pipeline again having operational problems caused by excess production upstream of the Logansport facilities. This is a constrained area on the system, Sonat noted in a shipper posting. Failure to alleviate the excess production could lead to implementation of a Type 5 OFO on points upstream of Logansport, Sonat said. Under the OFO, receipts in excess of 104% of scheduled quantities are penalized $15/Dth. A similar Logansport-related OFO was lifted in late March (see Daily GPI, March 27).

TGT has scheduled the semi-annual shut-in pressure test at its Midland Storage Field for April 15-26. No-Notice and FSS customers are asked to limit their Midland activities during this period (see bulletin board for details); however, TGT said that if necessary it will suspend the field test to accommodate market withdrawal requirements of both types of customers.
