Pacific Gas & Electric and Sonat did not extend OFOs beyondTuesday, and MRT is letting its System Protection Warning expirethis morning.

El Paso, Florida Gas Transmission and Northern Natural Gas kepttheir OFOs in place at least through Tuesday.

Citing decreasing soil and ambient temperatures, NOVA said itneeds to raise Alberta target linepack by seeking unconditionaltenders for the firm purchase of about 200,000 to 400,000gigajoules of gas. Tenders may be for all or some of the increase.The gas, which will be purchased through system inventory transfer,is required in more or less even increments over a period of up to14 days starting on or about Dec. 4. Pricing will be in the form ofa differential to a published intra-Alberta index. The deadline fortenders is Nov. 30. Due to forecasted weather and expected system demand, Algonquinis restricting all mainline, forward-haul Authorized Overrun andInterruptible services through the Cromwell (CT) Compressor Stationeffective today until further notice. In addition, no makeupnominations are being accepted.

Sonat extended the deadline of an open season for capacity onits South Georgia facilities (see Daily GPI, Oct. 17) through Dec.1, citing ongoing customer inquiries. The open season originallywas scheduled to end Nov. 13. Call Darryl Outlaw at (205) 325-7421for more information.

Questar noted that earlier this year it had committed to put inprocessing facilities at its Clay Basin storage facility to helpensure high quality and reliable deliveries into Northwest.Separation equipment has been installed, Questar said, and therewere plans to also install a dew point processing plant bymid-February 2001. However, due to delays in receiving air qualitypermits from the State of Utah, the projected in-service date forthe dew point facility is now June 2001.
