NGPL said it is completing all work on the offshore Texas HighIsland Block 71 Lateral and the line will become available for serviceagain today. A leak was discovered Aug. 16 and about 50 MMcf/d ofproduction from three receipt points was scheduled to zero effectiveAug. 18 (see Daily GPI, Aug. 23). NGPLwill begin scheduling gas for the High Island 71 (Torch) and HighIsland 116 (Vasgas) wells today. However, the High Island 139 (Sonat)well has been disconnected and is under evaluation at this time, sountil further notice the pipeline will not schedule gas there.

After declaring a customer-specific OFO for Tuesday (see Daily GPI,Aug. 29), Pacific Gas & Electricwidened it to a systemwide Stage 3 low-inventory order today. The OFOcarries penalties of $5/Dth for negative daily imbalances exceeding astringent 1% tolerance.

Florida Gas Transmission continued to extend an Overage Alert Daynotice (see Daily GPI, Aug. 25) Tuesdaybut tightened the imbalance tolerance from 15% to 10%.

Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline will take its BaileyvilleCompressor Station out of service for maintenance Sept. 6-10. Basedon nominations for last Saturday, about one-third of scheduledvolumes would be unable to flow, M&N said.

Koch Gateway is expanding its receipt and delivery capabilitiesin the Erath (LA)/Henry Hub area by about 300 MMcf/d andanticipates that all enhancements will be available by Sept. 15.Call Rich Cain at (713) 544-5067 or Doug Rephlo at -4589 forinformation about the new capacity.
