El Paso’s postponement dates for smart pigging of Line 1103 (seeDaily GPI, March 14) became inoperative after the pipelinedetermined that cleaning of the line would not be completed asexpected. El Paso said it will wait until Line 1103 is completelyclean before announcing a new pigging schedule. “By waiting, wewill only be able to give the notice one to two days prior to theevent, but we feel that is preferable to the possibility of havingto postpone yet another time.”

Gulf South will begin repairs today on one engine at theMontpelier Compressor Station in St. Helena Parish, LA; they areexpected take 10 days. Capacity on Gulf South’s 30-inch line (Index130) will be cut by 75 MMcf/d; however, based on current usage, thepipeline does not anticipate any service restrictions.

As a result of compliance with a Columbia Gulf heat contentlimit of 1,050 Btu/cf announced in January (see Daily GPI, Jan.22), the Sabine-Henry Plant meter station in South Louisiana wasremoved from the pipeline’s restriction list. Nominations forTuesday flow were resumed Monday. Only two points remain on therestriction list, a pipeline spokesman said.

Kern River has notified Questar that ML 90 deliveries will beplaced on the discharge side during testing of Muddy Creekcompression scheduled for March 19-22 (see Daily GPI, March 9). Dueto this change, Questar expects its Muddy Creek deliveries to bereduced from the currently scheduled 110,000 Dth/d by about 30,000Dth/d during the testing. Based on current nominations and pipelineconfiguration, Questar’s flexed T-1 nominations likely will beimpacted.
