Florida Gas Transmission declared a force majeure following aline break Thursday morning near Station 4 in Brazoria County, TX.The upstream MOPS, Danex MID Fields, HPL Magnet Withers, Live OakZella and Buckeye Burke receipt points were shut in until furthernotice, and affected shippers were given extended deadlines tore-source their gas. FGT Operations said Thursday afternoon itanticipated repairing the 22-inch mainline and returning it toservice by early this morning. The pipeline advised customers thatreceipt points upstream of Station 4 would become available fornominations during today’s Intraday 1 cycle.

Transco plans a pipe replacement project June 27-30 on Main Line”A” between Station 35 near Houston and Station 40 near Sour Lake,TX. During the project no gas scheduled from upstream points fordownstream delivery will be confirmed. Transco listed 14interconnects upstream of Station 35 that may be available fordeliveries; shippers were advised to contact their schedulers tocheck availability.

Trunkline rescheduled Texas System maintenance to begin July 6and extended it to run through July 31. The increased duration isdue to a decision to perform in-line inspection and tool runsoff-stream, Trunkline said. South Texas capacity will be zeroduring the outage.

Effective July 1, Sonat will implement a tariff revisionallowing delivery point operators to consolidate multiplemeasurement stations in the same zone and geographic vicinity intoa single delivery point as long as it impair the pipeline’s abilityto meet firm obligations. A filing for the revision got FERCapproval June 14, Sonat said. Atlanta Gas Light has alreadyrequested the consolidation of 20 points in seven groupings; seethe SoNet bulletin board for details.
