NOVA said it has been evaluating a “significant level ofinterest expressed by customers” for new FT service in the PeaceRiver Project area of northwestern Alberta. More than 600 MMcf/d ofincremental service was requested in the Upper and Central PeaceRiver design areas, NOVA said, adding, “At this point in time itwould appear that some additional facilities are required toaccommodate all of these requests.” The pipeline said customers hadauthorized about 70% of the requested volumes when provided with acommitment opportunity. NOVA estimated it can accommodate allrequests in pipeline segments 2-4, 26 and 27 with existingfacilities, but total requests in segment 1 exceed currentcapabilities and likely would require a capacity addition.
