Columbia Gas, which had allowed two Critical Days for storage to lapse Monday (see Daily GPI, Sept. 4), said a new Critical Day will be implemented Thursday; see the bulletin board for associated restrictions. Affiliate Columbia Gulf said effective with Timely cycle nominations Wednesday it was not allowing either AutoPAL (Park and Loan) service or nominations to resolve due-pipe imbalances.

Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) began unscheduled maintenance Wednesday on one of the two compressors at its FGT/Tennessee Carnes Interconnect between Stations 9 and 10. During the work, which is expected to last up to 10 days, FGT will schedule up to 20,000 MMBtu/d at the interconnect; during normal operations it schedules up to 60,000 MMBtu/d there.

As a result of planned compressor station maintenance and east-end demand, Southern implemented capacity allocations Wednesday for the East of Wrens, Savannah Line and Cypress Line delivery groups.

CenterPoint reported finishing integrity digs on Line AC between the Cove and Malvern compressor stations in the South Pooling Area and removed all associated restrictions. The work, which was initiated Sept. 12, had been expected to be completed Oct. 11.

Questar plans to upgrade the control system on Unit #1 at Oak Spring Compressor station, and to facilitate the project, ML 104 nominations will be reduced to 440,000 Dth/d for 20 days starting Oct. 15. Based on current nominations this represents a 10% cut to Tier 5 volumes, Questar said. It expects to restore ML 104 to normal capacity of 520,000 Dth/d on Nov. 3.
