Rockies Express (REX) said an outage of one unit at Bertrand Compressor Station experienced Thursday kept it unavailable Friday although repair crews worked on resolving the issue. However, at the current level of scheduled quantities (both Intraday 1 and Timely) through Segment 250, scheduling reductions were not necessary Friday, REX said, but if nominations increase for future cycles, a force majeure may be required.
In consideration of current operating conditions and recent scheduled volumes at Goldendale Compressor Station, Northwest said it has agreed to schedule up to 100,000 Dth/d through the station during Aug. 23-29 facility modifications between the Goldendale and Willard stations. Since actual operating capacity of Goldendale will be zero during the work, Northwest said, it will cover all scheduled nominations using storage and balancing flexibility. Therefore, it reserved the right to curtail alternate nominations as needed to maintain storage reserves and operational integrity.
