The ExxonMobil-operated Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP) facility returned to normal production levels for gas day Sunday, according to Spectra Energy subsidiaries Maritimes Canada and Maritimes U.S. The facility produces between 400 and 500 MMcf/d of natural gas and 20,000 b/d of natural gas liquids near Sable Island on the edge of the Nova Scotian continental shelf in eastern Canada. The SOEP planned maintenance outage, which began in early May, was originally expected to end for gas day May 11.

The pipeline said it reserves the right to cut alternate gas to protect the operational integrity of its pipeline, including cutting alternate gas at any compressor in a constrained corridor or to move balancing gas from Clay Basin to Jackson Prairie or to minimize OFO’s for primary firm shippers.

Southern Natural Gas Pipeline said it has completed a portion of the maintenance at its White Castle compressor station in southern Louisiana. As a result of this portion of the maintenance completion, capacity in group 40 — Franklinton West will be returned to 771,709 Dth effective with the timely cycle for gas day Tuesday. Southern said it anticipates the remaining West Leg HP maintenance will now be completing in mid to late June.
