Texas Eastern (TE) said it has an ongoing outage between Chambersburg and Lambertville through May 16. As a result, the pipeline has scheduled and sealed nominations for transportation and delivery between Chambersburg and Lambertville on the 36 inch CRP line. No increases in deliveries between Chambersburg and Lambertville will be accepted.

CenterPoint Energy Gas Transmission (CEGT) said from July 12 through July 19 it will be conducting quarterly maintenance on Line CP located in the Line CP pooling area. Based on historical and currently scheduled quantities, as well as current operating conditions, CEGT anticipates that primary firm services will not be interrupted on July 12 and from July 15 through July 19. If nominations exceed available capacity on forward-haul transportation, currently expected to be approximately 1.6 Bcf/d, there may be pro rata reductions in scheduled quantities, the pipeline said. In addition to the quarterly maintenance, CEGT said it will also begin preparations for the tie in of the Alto Compressor on July 13 through July 14. During this work, no deliveries for primary firm service will be scheduled. Secondary firm service to Texas Gas Meter No. 13545 will be available on a limited basis. Shippers will need to make appropriate arrangements with their downstream markets on Texas Gas. Backhaul transportation will be scheduled as operationally feasible.

Mississippi River Transmission Corp. (MRT) said it will be performing “critical annual maintenance” at its Unionville facility through Tuesday. During this period MRT will be unable to compress West Line volumes at Unionville and MRT will be unable to inject into storage at Unionville. During this period West Line capacity will be limited to 102,000 Dth/d and MRT will not schedule any volumes that result in a daily long position. MRT will also not accept any makeup of short positions and will not schedule any storage injections for Sunday or Monday.

Gulf South Pipeline will be performing its annual inspection on the mainline separators at the Hall Summit Compressor Station beginning May 24 and continuing for five days. On the 20″ separator the pipeline expects reduced capacity by as much as 80,000 Dth, while on the 24″ separator it expects reduced capacity by as much as 200,000 Dth. Based on system operations and nominations during the subject maintenance and which separator is offline scheduling reductions of as much as 150,000 Dth could occur, Gulf South said.

PG&E‘s California Gas Transmission (CGT) said it believes it has identified a workaround during the Kettleman Compressor Station Nox retrofit extended maintenance, which will begin on June 7 and continue until Aug. 13. Calling it a creative, win-win solution to help mitigate the majority of potential Baja path firm cuts during this summer period, CGT said it has been able to reduce the amount of firm contracts on the Baja Path down to a level of contracting that matches the anticipated available firm capacity.

Midcontinent Express Pipeline (MEP) said it has unexpectedly identified several sections of buried pipeline that had moved upward in the backfill above the required depth as a result of abnormal and unprecedented rain storms and subsequent flooding. Remediation requires MEP to re-excavate and lower the pipeline back to the required depth. To safely perform this line lowering procedure, MEP said sections of the pipeline will be isolated and the pressure removed during the remediation process. The affected sections of pipeline are located in Segment 200 in Zone 2 in Madison Parish, LA. All Zone 2 delivery points will be unavailable, while Zone 1 points are not impacted. As a result of Force Majeure, effective gas day Saturday, and continuing until the remediation is completed, Segment 200 will be scheduled to zero and the following delivery points will not be available: PIN 44448 – TETCO Hinds; PIN 44449 – SONAT Smith; PIN 44577 – TENN Jasper; PIN 44450 – DESTIN Clarke; PIN 44451 – TRANSCO Choctaw; and PIN 44604 – POOLING – ZONE 2. MEP anticipates the remediation to be completed on or before May 24. The pipeline has now initiated a depth of cover survey along additional segments of the right-of-way to determine whether any additional segments of the line have been affected.
