Southern Natural Gas said Sunday it expected a Type 6 OFO for long imbalances that was implemented Saturday to last through at least Thursday.

Because of forecasts for Florida temperatures in the 90s, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Monday with a 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Pacific Gas and Electric did not extend a systemwide Stage 3 high-inventory OFO beyond Saturday.

Dominion said it will rescind Tuesday an OFO #1 (Conform Transportation to Scheduled Nominations).

ANR reminded customers under interruptible Rate Schedules DDS and MBS that they must reduce their remaining storage inventory to zero by Friday. ANR said it will continue to allow DDS/MBS storage injections through Thursday “depending on operationally available injection capacity. Infield storage transfer requests will continue to be allowed provided that the requests do not result in an increase” to its storage service obligations. DDS/MBS storage activity will not be scheduled effective Saturday until further notice, ANR said.

Southwest Gas said Sunday it was lifting the Hold To Burn Notice that had been issued last Tuesday due to low linepack and repeated overpulls at delivery points. Although linepack has stabilized, Southwest said, it encouraged customers to ensure that actual takes match scheduled supplies. The Las Vegas-based LDC added that it was resuming normal nominating and scheduling processes effective with Sunday’s gas day.

Due to several maintenance projects from Monday through Thursday this week in the corridor through Kemmerer Compressor Station, Northwest has issued a Declared Deficiency Period for the segment. The largest volume impact will result from facility modifications between the Kemmerer and Pegram compressor stations, Northwest said. Primary firm nomination requests through Kemmerer exceed the operational capacity of 505,000 Dth/d that will be available during the work, and based on a design capacity of 655,000 Dth/d, the Daily Deficiency Volume is 150,000 Dth/d, it said.

Gulf South said it had delayed the start of an inventory verification test at its Bistineau Storage facility in Bienville Parish, LA, previously scheduled for Monday and lasting through Oct. 23, until Tuesday. During this period physical injections and withdrawals at Bistineau will not be available, but nominations utilizing the two Bistineau locations will be confirmed and scheduled to the extent that Gulf South is able to utilize other facilities to balance the system, the pipeline said.

Kern River reported Sunday that linepack had returned to normal operating levels after being below minimum targets last week. It asked customers to stay on rate to maintain linepack during maintenance at the Goodsprings Compressor Station.

Due to inclement weather, Transco said maintenance that had been scheduled to begin Monday at High Island 154 offshore southeast Texas was postponed until Thursday. About 50 MMcf/d of production from six upstream platforms will be shut in for an estimated 10 hours. Transco said it will not require shippers to adjust scheduled quantities from affected production locations (see the bulletin board for a list).
