After ending Sunday an Overage Alert Day (OAD) that had been in effect nearly a week, Florida Gas Transmission implemented a new OAD for market-area customers Wednesday, noting that temperatures in the mid 90s were returning in Florida and utilization of its capacity was high. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances was set at 20%.

Reflecting some relaxation of storage constraints in the Rockies, CIG said it was canceling Wednesday the Strained Operating Condition (SOC) and OFO it had declared because of limited injection capabilities (see Daily GPI, July 8). “The inventory level and balance among the storage fields that led to the issuance of the SOC and OFO have improved within recommended operating guidelines,” CIG said. Northwest reported activating the Willow Creek delivery point on its Parachute Lateral in Rio Blanco County, CO. Operated by Williams Field Services, the point has capacity of 100,000 Dth/d.
