While it investigates the results of just-completed pigging of its 42-inch diameter Expansion pipeline, Gulf South is limiting capacity in the Expansion Area 16, 17 and 18 Receipt Groups to 950,000 Dth/d until further notice. Gulf South also said it shut in four interconnects due to the work. TGT said the Gulf South restriction has the potential to impact its lease capacity on Gulf South at four locations.

Westcoast said it activated a 90% Raw Gas Transmission firm service constraint on the Grizzly Valley Producers group Thursday because of the Pine River Gas Plant’s Kwoen facility being off-line due to an extended BC Hydro transmission circuit failure. The constraint will remain in effect until power has been restored and the Kwoen facility is returned to normal operation, Westcoast said.

TGT reported completing all necessary construction activities and receiving the required FERC approval to place the Greenville Lateral facilities from its mainline at Greenville, MS, to the Tennessee-Isola interconnect into service. Lateral service began Tuesday with initial start-up capacity of 50,000 Dth/d, TGT said. It anticipates starting operations in the remainder of the Greenville Lateral Expansion facilities (Isola to Kosciusko, MS) into service during the mid to latter part of the first quarter.

Gulf South said results of its recent Haynesville/Perryville Expansion binding open season provide adequate support for it to commit to install incremental compression facilities on the previously completed East Texas and Mississippi Expansion Project. This expansion will provide firm transportation from Keatchie, Hall Summit and new receipt points in Louisiana downstream of the Carthage Header to the Perryville Hub. Gulf South said it will proceed with the FERC application process in order to have the Haynesville/Perryville project in service by Oct. 1, 2010, adding that it can increase the project’s capacity until March 13, 2009.
