TransCanada is assessing projects for transmission pipelines and related facilities from the Groundbirch area of British Columbia to connect with its NOVA system in Alberta. Saying there was “significant interest” expressed in such a system during a nonbinding open season held in July, TransCanada has begun a new open season that will run through Nov. 21. It requires customers seeking Firm Transportation service on the proposed pipeline to submit both a Request for Service as well as a Letter of Commitment. See the bulletin board for further details, or call Dave Murray at (403) 920-2059 for information.
