Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a systemwide low-inventory OFO on its California Gas Transmission system beyond Friday.

Southern Natural Gas noted Friday that it has a line isolated between the Gate 7 Platform and Toca (LA) Compressor Station for maintenance, impacting the Bayou Gentilly and Delacroix receipt points. Due to various contractor issues, the completion date of Phase I of this project has slipped from Tuesday of this week to no sooner than Oct. 27, Southern said. Other phases of the project will impact five other receipt points, Southern said, and it will post additional updates when information becomes available.

Citing “a significant reduction in primary nominations” through the Meacham Compressor Station, Northwest said it was lifting the Realignment OFO issued in early September for the station (see Daily GPI, Sept. 8) effective Saturday (Oct. 4). Because of high linepack systemwide, Northwest asked customers Friday to be on rate or draft slightly over the weekend.

Tennessee posted notice late Thursday afternoon of an emergent operational issue between Main Line Valves 10-2 and 11-2 near Victoria, TX. “Based upon internal pipe inspections, Tennessee has determined that immediate repair is necessary,” the pipeline said. The Destiny Farms meter was required to shut in until further notice. Tennessee kept shipper nominations there in place for Thursday’s gas day, but took nominations to zero Friday.

Gulf South will begin scheduled maintenance Monday at the Jackson (MS) Compressor Station on all four units, one at a time. The work will continue for 12 days, Gulf South said, during which capacity through the station could be reduced by as much as 100,000 Dth/d.
