Effective Wednesday Northwest is lifting the realignment OFO through the Meacham Compressor Station that was implemented last Thursday (see Daily GPI, June 19) because primary firm volumes being nominated for northbound flow through Meacham exceeded the operationally available capacity of 440,000 Dth/d. Primary quantities currently being nominated through Meacham have fallen to less than the operationally available capacity, Northwest said in announcing the OFO cancellation. “Be advised, however, that if primary firm nominations exceed this capacity, Northwest may need to again invoke the OFO provisions of its tariff,” it added. To avoid future OFOs, shippers were asked to utilize north-end supply points and provide displacement through Meacham.

Gulf South will begin five days of scheduled maintenance Monday on Unit #4 at Jackson (MS) Compressor Station. Capacity through the station could be reduced by as much as 100,000 Dth/d during this work, Gulf South said.

ANR said it began unplanned engine repairs Monday at various stations along the Southeast Mainline (SEML) that are reducing total SEML capacity by 330 MMcf/d (leaving 955 MMcf/d available) through Friday. Based on recent nominations, ANR anticipates that the reduction may result in curtailment of IT and Firm Secondary nominations.

CenterPoint said plant operator Prism Gas will perform scheduled maintenance starting July 14 at the Waskom Plant in Waskom, TX. The work will require Prism to take the plant out of service completely for about two days, followed by three days of operation at less than full capacity. The amount of capacity that will be available to CenterPoint shippers during the partial service period is unknown at this time, the pipeline said, and will be determined by Prism during the maintenance period. Supplies into CenterPoint’s Line F-185 will be shut in during the outage; see the bulletin board for a list of 17 affected receipt points. In addition, receipts into CenterPoint’s Line CP and core system at the tailgate of the Waskom Plant will be unavailable. MRT, a CenterPoint affiliate, said its Waskom receipt point will be completely unavailable July 14-15 “and may be affected in part or whole” July 16-18.
