Citing the weather forecast and projected demand on its system, Southern Natural Gas declared that the Savannah Line and Cypress Line delivery groups were subject to an OFO Type 3 Level 2 Monday until further notice. Such an OFO indicates that daily demand exceeds capacity. Penalties of $15/Dth were set for “any shipper whose allocated deliveries at any delivery point(s) within the groups…exceed 102% of their daily entitlement at such delivery point,” Southern said.

MRT is lifting Tuesday the System Protection Warning that it had placed into effect Monday.

Saying it anticipates “significant market load in conjunction with below-normal temperatures forecast for most of its market area,” Transco said effective Tuesday until further notice it is not allowing any due-shipper imbalance make-up nominations. Due-pipeline make-up nominations will be allowed. Transco also said it will disallow any incremental Loan quantities or the return of Park gas under Rate Schedule PAL and will not allow excess storage withdrawals under Rate Schedule GSS.

Gulf South began unscheduled maintenance Monday on Units #2 at both the Marksville Compressor Station in South Louisiana and Carthage Junction Compressor Station in East Texas. The Marksville work will continue for about two days and will reduce station capacity by as much as 150,000 Dth/d, Gulf South said, while the Carthage Junction work will last about three days and could reduced station capacity by as much as 75,000 Dth/d.
