With Florida having forecasts of 90-degree weather, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for customers in its market area Tuesday with a 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO on its California Gas Transmission system for Sunday, then allowed it to lapse Monday before issuing a customer-specific Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Tuesday. The customer-specific order was not extended beyond Tuesday. Both OFOs carried penalties of $1/Dth for exceeding a 9% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.

Maritimes & Northeast U.S. (M&N) early Tuesday reported completing a scheduled pipeline outage between the Richmond and Baileyville compressor stations and said the restrictions on nominations through Richmond had been lifted. The work previously had been expected to last through Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Oct. 22). Citing maintenance at the Goldboro processing plant and the subsequent loss of production from the plant, M&N said it will be available to transport gas quantities if confirmed supply is available. A restriction on no due-shipper imbalance payback nominations or due-pipe imbalance creation remains in effect, it added.

Northwest said it has been able to gain access to the Questar Southern Trails interconnect operated by Transwestern. The Questar Southern Trails point is slightly south of Northwest’s El Paso Blanco point. Northwest said it will be able to split up to 23,811 Dth/d of firm delivery capacity currently assigned to the El Paso Blanco point to the new point effective with Thursday’s gas day.
