Citing Florida forecasts of 90-degree weather, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Wednesday with a 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances. The pipeline said it would not interrupt previously scheduled market-area ITS-1 service “below the elapsed prorated scheduled quantity.”

El Paso told shippers Wednesday there was potential for a high-linepack condition on its system. The Washington Ranch storage facility was at maximum injections and linepack was approximately 7.76 Bcf, the pipeline said. It “strongly encouraged” customers to ensure that takes are fully balanced with receipts. If the situation fails to improve, declaration of a Pack Strained Operating Condition may be required, El Paso said.

Cheyenne Plains raised the operationally available capacity at Cheyenne Plains East from 435 MMcf/d to 455 MMcf/d Wednesday, but cautioned that the capacity level may fluctuate up and down as pipeline operating conditions change.

Southern Natural Gas reported that the Quarantine Bay receipt point was approved for flow effective with Wednesday’s gas day.

The Opal Plant operated by Williams Field Services (WFS) in Wyoming will have a new tailgate delivery option available in the future. The Questar-operated Overthrust Pipeline meter has been activated in the nomination system, WFS said, but it is not accepting nominations at this point until further notice.
