Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day for customers in its market area through at least Tuesday and tightened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 20% to 10%.

Southern Natural Gas reported experiencing an unscheduled outage at DeArmanville Compressor Station located on the north system in eastern Alabama. As a result, Southern said, it may be required to allocate/limit interruptible capacity (B-1 and IT) in Group 4-Chattanooga Group, Group 13-East Tennessee Group and Group 59-Tallapoosa Group and/or limit deliveries to 6% hourly entitlement rights. At this time Southern does not anticipate any interruption of firm services. The return to service date was unknown Tuesday. Southern also said it was isolating the 20-inch diameter Main Pass-Franklinton Line offshore Louisiana from Olga Compressor Station to Gate 7. The isolation means Southern will be unable to accept nominations at the Cox Bay receipt point until further notice. Southern anticipates returning the line to service Thursday.

Northwest said it increased available capacity Monday through the Pleasant View Compressor Station from 330,000 Dth/d to 339,000 Dth/d due to maintenance progress made to date and favorable operating conditions “which are expected to continue but are not guaranteed.” Based on the station’s design capacity of 352,446 Dth/d, the new Daily Deficiency Volume for an associated Declared Deficiency Period will be reduced to 13,446 Dth/d. The Deficiency Period is expected to last through Sept. 7 for all days except Sunday.
