Pacific Gas & Electric issued a customer-specific Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Tuesday, but had no OFO scheduled for Wednesday.

An approaching forest fire prompted Transwestern to shut down Station 4 in Klagetoh, AZ, Tuesday afternoon. Thoreau West capacity was reduced from 1,210,000 MMBtu/d to 1,040,000 MMBtu/d effective for Intraday Cycle 4 nominations until further notice, Transwestern said.

Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) began unscheduled maintenance Tuesday on one of the two compressors at the FGT/Tennessee Carnes interconnect just upstream of Compressor Station 10. This outage was expected to last through Thursday or Friday and under current operating conditions is resulting in up to 30,000 MMBtu/d being scheduled at the interconnect. During normal operations FGT schedules up to 60,000 MMBtu/d there. The pipeline also said rainy weather was forecasted in Florida Wednesday and its linepack was higher, so market-area customers were notified of the potential for FGT issuing an Underage Alert Day. If one is issued, FGT said, it sees a low probability for the need to interrupt previously scheduled market-area ITS-1 service.

Southern Natural Gas reported experiencing operational problems caused by excess production upstream of Bienville Compressor Station in North Louisiana, which is a constrained area on Southern’s system. Point operators were encouraged to closely monitor their flows vs scheduled quantities and make any necessary adjustments. “If the operational problems being experienced are not alleviated, Southern will be forced to implement a Type 5 OFO (daily receipts vary from confirmed receipt nominations) on points upstream of Bienville Compressor Station,” the pipeline said. This would affect seven receipt points.

CenterPoint said Line CP capacity will be reduced to 873,000 Dth/d by planned maintenance starting Wednesday at Vernon Compressor Station (Line CP-CP Pooling Area). The work is expected to be completed by the start of Friday’s gas day. During this time nominations to Perryville Hub delivery points may be allowed on a case-by-case basis, and wheeling services should not be affected, CenterPoint said. No IT transactions will be scheduled on Line CP during this period, and a pro rata reduction of primary firm delivery obligations will be implemented.

Saying maintenance had been completed, Trunkline restored the Transco Ragley interconnect to maximum capacity of 700,000 Dth/d Tuesday.
