El Paso declared a systemwide Strained Operating Condition Sunday, effective until further notice, and set a 10% tolerance for positive daily imbalances. The pipeline said its Washington Ranch storage facility is unavailable for injections due to well testing.

Florida Gas Transmission kept an Overage Alert Day declared Friday in place through Saturday, then lifted it Sunday before declaring a new OAD Monday with 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances. FGT said it had completed unscheduled maintenance on a compressor at Station 7 and resumed scheduling up to 465,000 MMBtu/d through the station effective with Monday’s gas day.

According to a posting on the Kern River bulletin board, the Southwest Gas LDC declared a “hold to burn” notice Saturday due to high linepack on pipelines upstream of its system. Southwest asked customer cooperation to ensure that actual takes met or exceeded scheduled supply in order to reduce linepack to an acceptable level. Positive daily nominations for customer imbalance paybacks to Southwest were eliminated Saturday until further notice.

Northwest reported Sunday that while performing scheduled Moab District hydro-tests (see Daily GPI, Aug. 29) for a required Department of Transportation class location change, one section of pipe just north of the Mancos delivery meter failed its test and must be replaced immediately. Due to the unexpected delay in its project, Northwest extended the hydro-tests by one day, keeping available capacity at the Pleasant View Compressor Station limited to zero through Tuesday’s gas day.

A high-linepack OFO issued for Friday by Southern California Gas remained in effect through Sunday before being ended Monday. Pacific Gas & Electric kept a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO that was implemented Saturday in place through Sunday before lifting it Monday.

CenterPoint said Monday it had completed a scheduled maintenance shutdown at Delhi Station in Richland Parish, LA (see Daily GPI, Sept. 13), thus removing a constraint on delivery capacity at Columbia Gulf/Perryville (South). CenterPoint also said an outage of the Waskom Plant in East Texas by Waskom Gas Processing Co. has been tentatively rescheduled to begin Oct. 6 instead of Oct. 5 (see Daily GPI, Sept. 8).

Transco said it completed tie-in procedures for an interconnection with Gulfstream on Transco’s Mobile Bay Lateral (see Daily GPI, Aug. 31) earlier than anticipated and began taking nominations again for lateral receipts to be delivered to Florida Gas Transmission at Citronelle in Mobile County, AL or at Station 85 for Sunday’s gas day.

ANR said Monday it had completed emergency repairs on its Patterson Compressor Station in South Louisiana and lifted the associated capacity restriction on Patterson-to-Eunice Compressor Station deliveries effective with the next intraday nominations cycle. It previously had expected to end the restriction last Thursday (see Daily GPI, Sept. 12).
