Northwest notified shippers Tuesday of a Declared Deficiency Period at the Green River South constraint point that it said could last through Thursday. Northwest had scheduled installation of pigging facilities on a section of the mainline near Green River South to begin Tuesday (see Daily GPI, July 20), and during the outage operational capacity through the constraint point is zero.

ANR reported Tuesday that all DDS and MBS customers have now met its requirement to reduce their storage account balances to no greater than 35% of their June 14 allocated balance (see Daily GPI, June 19). “Customers will not be allowed to exceed this inventory level until further notice,” the pipeline said, adding that inventory “remains at significantly high levels” and a daily restriction on interruptible storage injections remains in effect until further notice.

El Paso will shut down the San Juan Crossover and cut flows to zero Aug. 10-11 for modifications of Line 1300. Crossover capacity will be reduced by varying amounts from a base capacity of 620 MMcf/d on several other days during August due to maintenance at several compressor stations, but those cuts will be limited to 85 MMcf/d. NOVA plans to perform an inline inspection Thursday on the NPS 36 Foothills BC Mainline, which will reduce receipt capacity of the BC system at the Alberta/British Columbia border to 2,047 MMcf/d. Recent AB/C Border demand has been more than that, ranging from 2,118 MMcf/d to 2,436 MMcf/d, the pipeline said. The work is expected to be completed within 24 hours.
