Sea Robin Pipeline reported that the Sea Robin Processing Plant operated by Amerada Hess was back on-line and resumed processing around 7:30 a.m. CDT Saturday. The plant had most recently shut down on the morning of April 21 (see Daily GPI, April 24).

Due to heavy rain in an area of maintenance at Mont Belvieu in southeast Texas, Texas Eastern has changed the schedule for a Line 11 pipe cleaning project and work required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) work. The pipe cleaning will begin Thursday and end next Monday. During this work, restrictions on the 24-inch diameter system downstream of Longview, TX as well as a significant restriction of receipts in the East Texas Zone between Huntsville and Longview will be required. DOT-mandated pipeline replacement on the discharge side of Mont Belvieu has been rescheduled to begin Friday and end Sunday, during which, depending on the level of nominations at that time, a restriction of receipts in the South Texas Zone may be required. The interconnect with Moss Bluff Gas Storage in Chambers County, TX is located in the valve section where the replacement is occurring and will be shut in during this work, Texas Eastern said.

MRT said a System Protection Warning (SPW) will be in effect during May 1-15 annual maintenance at its Unionville storage facility (see Daily GPI, April 27). MRT will not allow any daily imbalance that results in an overdelivery of supplies, and may require the elimination of inadvertent imbalance positions during the SPW period.

Trunkline resumed taking nominations for last Saturday’s gas day from Stone Energy‘s Ewing Bank 305 platform, which was shut in early in April after the pipeline found that its lateral offshore Louisiana from Ewing Bank 305 to Grand Isle 82 had apparently shifted from its location prior to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita (see Daily GPI, April 5).

Florida Gas Transmission said it is receiving gas that does not meet its tariff’s quality standards because it contains high concentrations of hexane and heavier components that could interfere with proper operation of FGT and customer facilities. Effective Tuesday until further notice, the pipeline is limiting total receipts at the EGP-Cow Island Plant interconnect.

El Paso announced, then subsequently canceled, eight hours of maintenance Tuesday on Bondad Station’s B turbine. There will not be any reduction of station capacity after all, it said.

Southern Natural Gas said three additional receipt points — American Bay, Bayou Gentilly and Main Pass 77 — have been approved for flow since it reported completing repairs over the April 22-23 weekend to all laterals impacted by hurricanes in 2005 (see Daily GPI, April 25) with the exception of the 12-inch diameter West Delta 133 line, which remains out of service pending producer repairs.
