With warmer weather forecasted for central Florida and linepack getting lower, Florida Gas Transmission declared an Overage Alert Day for customers in its market area Tuesday. The tolerance for negative daily imbalances was set at 10%.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a customer-specific low-inventory OFO for Wednesday. An OFO notice was sent in error to all customers at 7:35 a.m. PST Tuesday, PG&E said. A revised customer-specific OFO message was sent about 40 minutes later to only those customers who are targeted by the OFO, it added.

Monument Station’s 1B compressor experienced a failure early Monday afternoon that is being analyzed by mechanics, El Paso said. It estimated that the analysis will take up to 48 hours and any necessary maintenance could extend the downtime. The pipeline declared force majeure for the expected duration of the outage and said about 35 MMcf/d of capacity has been lost at four nearby points.

Gulf South has scheduled about 45 days of maintenance on Hall Summit Compressor Station Unit #3 beginning April 4. Capacity through Hall Summit could be reduced as much as 100 MMcf/d, Gulf South said.

Southern Natural Gas reported Monday that the Spider Field tap work it started March 15 (see Daily GPI, March 6) has been completed and the line was returned to service. Capacity west of Bienville (LA) Compressor Station was raised to 132,730 Dth/d on the next available scheduling cycle, Southern said.
