TEPPCO has scheduled maintenance at its Falcon Station in the Jonah Gathering Field for Wednesday and again Sept. 21, according to a Kern River posting. Each day’s work will curtail an estimated 325 MMcf/d. “Because most of the gas comes to Kern River either through the Opal or the Pioneer receipt points, there will be an impact to Kern shippers,” the pipeline said.

Tennessee provided this update late Monday afternoon as it continues to evaluate onshore, offshore and marsh facilities in the Gulf Coast region: “At this time the 26-inch and 36-inch lines are isolated between Ship Shoal 198 and Station 523. Tennessee has confirmed leaks on the 26-inch line at Ship Shoal 157 and Ship Shoal 144 [and] has also confirmed leaks on the 36-inch line at Ship Shoal 144 and Ship Shoal 120.” Dive, repair and inspection operations are ongoing, the pipeline said. See the bulletin board for details on where Tennessee has found other system damage from Hurricane Katrina.

Fall cleaning pig runs between the Provident City and Joaquin Stations, previously scheduled for Sept. 15-19, will now take place on Sept. 18-19 only, Texas Eastern said. As in the past, receipts on the 24-inch system downstream of Longview will be restricted, and receipts between Huntsville and Longview will have extensive restrictions, it added. Pig runs are also set for Sept. 20-26 in a resumption of pipeline cleaning between Joaquin and Longview. All 15 receipt points on the 20-inch line between Joaquin and Longview Stations must be shut in for the duration of that work.
