Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Friday. The order carries $1/Dth penalties for exceeding a 5% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.

An Overage Alert Day notice issued by Florida Gas Transmission began with an initial tolerance of 25% for negative daily imbalances Monday. The tolerance was tightened to 15% Tuesday and then loosened to 20% Wednesday. On Thursday FGT restored the notice’s original tolerance of 25%.

The Hastings Extraction Plant will be out of service July 26-28 for general maintenance, Dominion said, requiring that all wet production on its system must be shut in by 6 a.m. EDT on July 26. The pipeline said it is working to determine if some gas can be moved to Copley for processing during the Hastings outage.

Panhandle Eastern has reset an outage of the Satanta 20-inch Lakin line for a tee installation, previously due to begin next Monday, for startup June 28. Four meter stations must shut in during the work, which is expected to last three days. Similarly, Panhandle Eastern postponed a hot tap installation and anomaly digs on the Satanta 18-inch Grant County line, also previously due to begin next Monday, until July 5. This outage is expected to last six days, during which six receipt points upstream of Satanta Station must be shut in. Both lines are in southwest Kansas.
