Tennessee said Wednesday it had isolated the 509A-400 lateral from its 509A-300 line (the Southwest Leg of the Blue Water System offshore Louisiana) and had begun to load the 509A-300 line. Flows were allowed to resume at 14 meters that had been shut in Tuesday after Tennessee discovered a leak in the area (see Daily GPI, March 9). Only the East Cameron 254B meter must remain shut in until leak repairs are finished. Tennessee estimated Wednesday morning that it could take up to 24 hours before the 509A-300 line reaches normal pressure again; producers on the line will experience low pressures until then.

Columbia Gulf lifted Wednesday a shut-in order issued Tuesday to all platform operators on its 30-inch line that begins at West Cameron 616 and interconnects with Blue Water System at Vermilion 245 and on all connected laterals. Columbia Gulf, the co-owner of Blue Water with Tennessee, suspended the platform flows after experiencing an unexplained pressure drop Tuesday on its southwest leg that interconnects with Blue Water; the drop was believed to be related to the Tennessee segment leak.

Gulf South will begin performing an estimated seven days of scheduled maintenance on Unit # 2 at the Longview Compressor Station in East Texas on March 14. Capacity through the station could be affected as much as 30 MMcf/d during this period.
