CIG said work on a force majeure outage of Natural Buttes Station that began in late January (see Daily GPI, Jan. 28) is now expected to continue through March. The pipeline was able to raise operationally available capacity through the station from 80 MMcf/d to 120 MMcf/d shortly after the outage commenced. It set the total capacity for receipts at Uintah Station and Meter Station 101 at 135 MMcf/d Thursday until further notice.

Questar reported being notified by West Texas Gas that it will perform March 7-11 maintenance at the Davis Plant processing facility. As a result, no nominations will be accepted at Questar’s Greasewood delivery point to TransColorado for those days. Nominations will be accepted again beginning with Cycle 1 for the March 12 gas day.

El Paso reported getting FERC approval Wednesday to place the Strained Operating Condition and Critical Operating Condition (SOC/COC) provisions of its Order 637 settlement into effect retroactively to Feb. 20. Because there has not been a Strained or Critical Operation Condition in the period since then, “the retroactive effectiveness is a moot issue,” El Paso said. It added that a notice posted Feb. 18 announcing that the SOC/COC provisions would not take effect on Feb. 20 (see Daily GPI, Feb. 23) has been rescinded. Details of the provisions are available on the bulletin board.
