Citing forecasts of higher than expected system temperatures, Northern Natural Gas said a System Underrun Limitation will be in effect for all market-area zones Saturday.

ANR reported being informed by owners and/or operators of the processing plants serving the pipeline’s Southeast Area that “based on their current analysis of processing economics for the month of March 2004, most will not process gas absent the issuance of a gas quality requirement by ANR.” Thus ANR has issued an OFO establishing a hydrocarbon dew point limit of 20 degrees Fahrenheit for receipts into the Southeast Area through March 1. Effective March 1, gas from meters in the affected area with a hydrocarbon dew point higher than 20 degrees and located upstream of a processing plant must be processed, the pipeline said, adding, “Evidence of a valid processing arrangement with a downstream processing plant must be made available to ANR upon request.” ANR has posted the dew point calculation methodology on its bulletin board and said it will post the hydrocarbon dew point for all active receipt meters in the Southeast production area.

Due to falling linepack, Westcoast changed its imbalance tolerances Thursday to 15% pack and 5% draft. The normal ratio is 10/10%.
