Gulf South has lifted a force majeure notice for its Magnolia Storage Facility near Napoleonville, LA. The notice took effect last Saturday after the facility’s two compressor units went down. One of the units has been restored to a compression level sufficient to handle all firm third-party obligations, Gulf South said. Efforts to bring that unit to full capacity and to fully commission the remaining idle compressor are continuing.
Florida Gas Transmission said as of Nov. 1 it no longer owns and operates the Shuteston Lateral in St. Landry Parish, LA, making the Despot Prod. Co. N. Veltin and Cougar Exploration-Shuteston points invalid for nominations on its system. Sevarg, Inc. is the lateral’s new owner/operator, FGT said. Call Sevarg’s Richard Johnston at (504) 392-5400, ext. 28 for information about service on the lateral.
