Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Friday. The order has zero tolerance for positive daily imbalances and penalties of $1/Dth.

Transwestern will be doing unit maintenance Nov. 3-14 at WT-2 Station (Kermit, TX) on the West Texas Lateral. WT-2 capacity will be decreased from about 575,000 MMBtu/d to 475,000 MMBtu/d during the work.

CenterPoint will perform unscheduled repairs on Unit #5 at Custer Compressor Station Tuesday through Thursday of next week. Capacity on Line 2 will be limited to 115,000 Dth/d through the completion of these repairs.

On the morning of Nov. 23 Florida Gas Transmission will begin about 24 hours of piping maintenance at Station 11 in Mt. Vernon, AL. The pipeline will schedule up to about 1,500,000 MMBtu/d of forward-haul into the Florida market area during this work, anticipating that total market area demand will decrease during the second half of November based on historical delivery patterns. If demand is significantly higher than 1,500,000 MMBtu/d, FGT said, it will consider rescheduling the Station 11 outage.

Reminding customers that FERC approved its Order 637 segmentation filing with implementation in a phased approach, Questar said it has developed and tested the software necessary for phase II segmentation during the past several months and is ready to implement on Dec. 1. Questar marketing representatives will provide FT customers with information on phase II segmentation, contract transportation paths and other priority-of-service concepts in coming days. In addition, the pipeline will offer on-site training on these subjects at company headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT.
