A Targa Resources Corp. unit on Thursday launched an open season to test support for natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline transportation capacity from southern Oklahoma to the Mont Belvieu hub.

Targa NGL Pipeline Co. LLC is gauging interest through Dec. 17 for capacity from a planned interconnection with upstream pipeline facilities in Oklahoma’s Stephens and Grady counties, to the NGL hub near Houston.

The Houston firm links NGL gathering and processing infrastructure in the Permian Basin, North Texas and southern Oklahoma to Mont Belvieu via its Grand Prix NGL Pipeline. Grand Prix began service in 2019, moving liquids from the Permian.
