El Paso Corp. said Tuesday it is extending the binding open season for its mammoth Continental Connector pipeline project due to requests from several prospective shippers who are seeking additional time to further evaluate and fully respond to the offering. The open season, which began May 1, will be extended until June 8.

CIG Requests Raton Basin Expansion

Facing higher natural gas costs, Unitil has filed an interim increase in its Cost of Gas Adjustment (CGA) factor with the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Energy (MDTE). If approved, a typical residential heating customer using 150 therms/month in the winter would see an increase of $11.06 or 5.4% over the current rates.
