El Paso has the Laguna #2 compressor down for maintenancethrough Saturday and will be working on the Caprock #2 turbineSaturday through May 3. The two projects reduce San Juan Crossovercapacity by 30 MMcf/d.

El Paso will take the Dutch Flat #1 turbine down for maintenanceDec. 20-22, reducing Havasu Crossover capacity by 40 MMcf/d.

El Paso said Friday the White Rock (NM) Station had been takenout of service for emergency maintenance. The pipeline heldcapacity out of San Juan Basin at the Cycle 2 scheduled rate of2,685 MMcf/d Friday but lowered the volume slightly to 2,680 MMcf/dfor Saturday’s gas day.

Both El Paso and Florida Gas Transmission lifted low-linepackOFOs Friday (see Daily GPI, Oct. 22).

Saying its Washington Ranch Storage Field was experiencingmaximum withdrawals, El Paso declared an Unauthorized OverpullPenalty situation effective Thursday until further notice. Thepipeline said it would limit scheduled volumes at underperforminginterconnects to insure system integrity.

North Mainline capacity on El Paso is down by 300 MMcf/d throughOct. 29 due to an overhaul of the Williams (AZ) “C” turbine thatwas set to begin Sunday (Oct. 10).

El Paso has rescheduled maintenance at its Roswell (NM) Station,which was postponed last week (see Daily GPI, Aug. 31), for today and Thursday. It willcut San Juan Crossover capacity by 30 MMcf/d.

El Paso Energy’s Tennessee Gas Pipeline and CNG’s CNG Transmission announced an open season for their joint venture, the Atlantic Alliance Project, which started last week and will extend to Thursday, Sept. 30. Shippers will be asked to submit binding precedent agreements for service commencing November 2001 as part of the open season.
