Transportation Notes

Northwest said it will lift a Declared Customer Specific Entitlement Period for overtakes Friday. The entitlement period was implemented nearly a month ago (see Daily GPI, Dec. 11, 2002). Northwest asked all shippers to continue “to align their supplies and markets to avoid adversely affecting the pipeline.”

Transportation Notes

Effective Wednesday, Northwest is lifting a customer-specific Declared Overrun Entitlement Period for overtakes that was issued Nov. 4 (see Daily GPI, Nov. 5). Thanking customers for their cooperation, Northwest said its Jackson Prairie Storage account “is returning to adequate winter storage levels and Kemmerer’s north throughput flow is being reduced.”

Northwest said it lifted a Declared Entitlement Period forovertakes Friday “at the earliest date possible to minimize theimpacts to its customers.” The entitlement had been in effect sinceearly October (see Daily GPI, Oct. 9,2000) and was modified at times since then. The pipeline addedthat “while the operational threat is currently under control,Northwest will continue to monitor the system for unfavorableconditions and will immediately entitle the system, includingweekends, if necessary.” Realignment and must-flow OFOs were canceledby Northwest earlier last week (see Daily GPI, Jan. 4).

Transportation Note

A systemwide entitlement against overtakes that began Dec. 19 onNorthwest remained in effect going into the holiday weekend.Northwest said Wednesday it would continue to operate under a Stage1 entitlement at 3% because it had not seen sufficient improvementin system conditions. However, as of Wednesday the entitlement waslifted on points south of Kemmerer (WY) Station.
