Florida Gas Transmission extended a market-area Overage Alert Daynotice (see Daily GPI, Oct. 13) throughWednesday but loosened the tolerance for daily negative imbalancesfrom 5% to 8%.

Citing high market-area demand, Florida Gas Transmission issuedan Overage Alert Day notice Tuesday for the segment east of Station12 (Santa Rosa County, FL). Daily negative imbalances exceeding atolerance of 5% are subject to penalty. The pipeline will evaluatesystem conditions again this morning before deciding whether toextend the OFO.

Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day noticeinto its third day Wednesday, continuing to cite high market-areademand. However, Pacific Gas & Electric is lifting itslow-linepack OFO today.

Due to rising market-area demand following the weekend, Florida GasTransmission found it necessary to reinstate Monday an Overage AlertDay notice that it had lifted Friday after a three-day run (see DailyGPI, Oct. 4). The low-linepack OFOcarries 8% tolerance for negative daily imbalances and applies to thesystem east of Station 12 (Santa Rosa County, FL). FGT also continuedto extend maintenance at Sabine Pass Plant/Johnson’s Bayou insouthwestern Louisiana, which was originally scheduled to end May 17,1999, but said late last week it was increasing allowable volumesthrough the facility by another 10 MMcf/d, raising its total capacityto 110 MMcf/d.

After finishing last week with a multi-day Overage Alert Daynotice carrying a 6% tolerance for negative daily imbalances,Florida Gas Transmission reinstated the low-linepack OFO for itsmarket area Tuesday but tightened the tolerance considerably to 2%.The new notice is again due to high market area demand and appliesto the system east of Station 12 (Santa Rosa County, FL).

After warning of its possibility Tuesday, Florida GasTransmission issued an Overage Alert Day notice Wednesday for themarket area east of Station 12 (Santa Rosa County in the FloridaPanhandle). The notice carries a 6% tolerance for daily negativeimbalances. FGT will re-evaluate conditions this morning beforedeciding whether to extend the notice.

After advising on its bulletin board Monday that it wasmonitoring conditions for the necessity of an OFO, Florida GasTransmission issued an Overage Alert Day notice Tuesday due to highmarket-area demand. The notice applies to the system east ofStation 12 (Santa Rosa County in the Florida Panhandle) and carriesa 4% tolerance for negative daily imbalances. The pipeline willdecide this morning whether to extend the notice through today’sgas day.
