Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day notice forits market area that had begun Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Sept. 29) through Thursday but againloosened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 6% to 8%.

Sonat said unforeseen problems encountered during installation offacilities for tying in the Sandy Hook Line to its system inMississippi will require that the section remain out of service untillate today. The work, which is shutting in 19 meters in the Hub, SandyHook and Dexter fields, originally was expected to last one day whenit began Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Sept. 28).

PG&E Gas Transmission-Northwest took the “D” compressor unitat Station 13 (Chemult, OR) out of service. Flows through Station13 were reduced to 1,855 MMcf/d starting Thursday while repairsproceeded. However, later that day the pipeline notified shippersit had delivered a replacement gas generator to Station 13. Thegenerator was expected to be operational by today’s gas day, so therestriction is being removed.
