Demand exceeding capacity has resulted in a linepack loss downstream of Stations 245 and 321, Tennessee said, prompting it to issue Critical Day 1 OFOs for all LMS-PA Balancing Parities in Zones 5 and 6 effective Sunday. The OFOs will be in addition to Action Alerts implemented Friday in those zones along with one in Zone 4, Tennessee said.

Cabot: Methane Was in Dimock Water Wells Prior to Drilling

Only four drinking water wells in Dimock Township, PA, have methane exceeding the Department of the Interior’s (DOI) suggested action levels, according to data released Tuesday by Cabot Oil & Gas Corp., which said the study is further evidence that its natural gas drilling operations did not contaminate groundwater in the area.

The OFO was extended through Thursday with much the same conditions except that the tolerance was tightened slightly to 5%.
