Pacific Gas and Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Friday, setting penalties of $1/Dth for exceeding a 7% tolerance on positive daily imbalances.
Southern noted that it had completed a shut-in test of its Muldon Storage Field in Mississippi and had canceled the associated force majeure Tuesday. A similar shut-in test of the Bear Creek Storage Field in northwest Louisiana is scheduled for Oct. 19-25 and will also constitute a force majeure event, Southern said. Kern River anticipates having an expansion of the Hunter Park Meter Station in Utah completed and available for nominations Oct. 22. The delivery interconnect with Questar Gas will have capacity of 250,000 Dth/d, Kern River said.
Gulf South plans about six hours of maintenance each day (one at a time) on the T5, T6 and T7 turbines at its Carthage Junction Expansion Compressor Station during the Oct. 26-28 period. Capacity through the station could be reduced by as much as 150,000 Dth during this work, Gulf South said in advising shippers to watch for e-mail or website updates.
