The board of directors of ConocoPhillips said Thursday that it has implemented a number of changes in the management of its Exploration & Production segment. Following a brief transition period, changes in the segment will include:

The board also announced that R.M. (Ryan) Lance, president of Asia Pacific; K.O. (Kevin) Meyers, president of ConocoPhillips Alaska; and H.W. (Henry) Sykes, president of ConocoPhillips Canada, will remain in their current positions. ConocoPhillips said that Cornelius, DeCamp, Leone, McColgin, McGee, Lance, Meyers and Sykes will report to Bill Berry, executive vice president, E&P. Knudsen will report to Lance.

Houston-based Cheniere Energy Inc. said Wednesday that Keith Meyer will join the company following the closing of the sale of CMS Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Co. to Southern Union Company. Meyer was vice president of Business Development, LNG, and Supply at CMS and oversaw the commercial aspects of CMS’ LNG operations. Meyer also served as vice president of Marketing for the pipeline company and as executive director of International Business Development for CMS Energy’s gas transmission group. His new positions will be as president of Cheniere’s subsidiary, Cheniere LNG Inc., and as vice president of Cheniere Energy. Cheniere LNG is the owner of a 30% limited partnership in Freeport LNG Development LP and is developing two additional sites for LNG receiving facilities at Sabine Pass, LA, and in Corpus Christi, TX.
