Dynegy Inc. has named Carol F. Graebner executive vice president and general counsel. She will be responsible for Dynegy’s legal, regulatory and government affairs activities, and will report directly to CEO Bruce A. Williamson. Graebner, 49, joins Dynegy from Duke Energy International. She also served as general counsel for Conoco Global Power Inc. Graebner replaces Kenneth E. Randolph, who is retiring after 18 years with Dynegy.

Murphy Oil Corp., based in El Dorado, AR, has appointed W. Michael Hulse as executive vice president, worldwide downstream operations and Charles A. Ganus as president of the newly formed Murphy USA Retail Marketing Co. Both moves are concurrent with the retirement of Herbert A. Fox Jr. Hulse joined Murphy in May 1990 as manager of crude supply. In November 2001, he was promoted to president, Murphy Oil USA Inc., and he will retain this position, in addition to his new worldwide responsibilities. Ganus joined Murphy in March 1984 as an associate attorney. He will continue to be responsible for all retail operations and asphalt sales.
